Week 10 Starts and Sits

November 10, 2019

As we are headed down the home stretch en route to a fantasy playoff birth. Below I have included some starts or sits to help to continue your quest for a fantasy championship!

Daniel Jones @ NYJ- Jets defense has been pretty poor so far this year.  Daniel Jones has the ability to both rush and pass which gives him an attractive floor.

Kyler Murray @ TB-  Tampa has a pretty bad pass defense.  Murray has been mediocre the last couple of games but this is a great matchup for him regardless of how he has played.

Josh Allen @ CLE-  Allen has been super consistent so far this year.  Again, Allen rushes a lot and provides a nice floor, so you should feel safe starting him.

Matt Ryan @ NO-  Ryan is coming off of an ankle injury facing a tough Saints defense on the road.  That sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Kirk Cousins @ DAL-  Cousins has cooled off a bit but is still doing well.  After watching what Dallas did to Daniel Jones last week makes me hesitant to start Kirk.

Jared Goff @ PIT-  The Steelers defense has been great at forcing turnovers and getting to the quarterback this year.  Goff has been flaky at best so far. I'd leave him on the bench this week.

Mark Ingram @ CIN-  This one is pretty self-explanatory.  If you have players going against the Bengals you start them.  Their defense is soft.

David Montgomery vs DET-  Montgomery has been very involved lately.  On top of that, the Bears have cut Mike Davis.  This is now a 2 man show and Montgomery is the headliner.

Devin Singletary @ CLE-  Singletary has finally taken over as the top dog in Buffalo supplanting Frank Gore.  He has looked great. Cleveland hasn't been great on either side of the ball this year.  Look for Singletary to have a big day.

Devonta Freeman @ NO-  Freeman has been better lately but New Orleans defense has been stout.  I see Atlanta throwing the ball a lot to keep up in this game so I'd leave Freeman on the bench this week.

Joe Mixon vs BAL-  Baltimore's defense has been pretty tough against the run.  They're only allowing around 70 yards a game. I foresee the Bengals playing catch up in this game also.

Todd Gurley @ PIT-  Todd has been ok.  He's been nothing to write home about, especially where he was drafted.  This Steelers defense is underrated and has been pretty good so far. I doubt you're benching Gurley, but I would temper my expectations of him.

Ted Ginn Jr. vs ATL-  Atlanta's defense has been absolutely terrible this year.  Ginn has a good chance to catch a long touchdown or two.

Jamison Crowder vs NYG-  Crowder had a great week against Miami last week.  Look for more of the same from him against a poor Giants secondary.

Christian Kirk @ TB-  Since returning from injury Kirk has been targeted heavily.  He appears to have taken over the number 1 role in this offense.  This is also a very attractive matchup for him as well. Start him up if you have him.

Juju Smith-Schuster vs LAR-  Juju has been hard to trust with the erratic quarterback play of Rudolph.  Add the fact that he will most likely be covered by Ramsey for most of this one.  I'd stay away if you have the option.

Calvin Ridley @ NO-  The Saints defense has been solid all-around this year.  Couple that with an injured Matt Ryan and I don't like Ridley's chances at posting a nice stat line.

DK Metcalf @ SF-  The 49ers have been really good against wide receivers lined out wide.  That's where DK runs most of his routes. He's been great lately but I fear that he has a bad game coming up.

Jared Cook vs ATL-  I love most Saints players this week.  Atlanta's defense is that bad. If you're looking for a streamer grab Cook this week.

OJ Howard vs ARI-  Arizona has been awful against the tight end position this year.  If Howard can't get it done here then he isn't getting it done at all this year.

Jimmy Graham vs CAR-  Graham has been hard to trust this year.  Also, the Panthers have been tight against tight ends so far.  Leave him on your bench.

Jacob Hollister @ SF-  Hollister had an awesome game last week but don't chase the points.  The 49ers have been the top team against tight ends this year. This is not a favorable matchup.
