Lamar Jackson Vs Cincinnati
This should be the get right game Jackson needs to get back in the swing of things. The Bengals are one of the worst defenses in the league right now. I would fire him up as a QB1 this week.
Kyler Murray Vs Atlanta
Kyler Murray has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks this year. They now face a defeated and depleted Atlanta Falcons defense who are being beaten in the running and passing game. Both of which Murray is skilled at. I would fire Murray up as a QB1 this week against the Falcons.
Matt Ryan Vs Arizona
Like Murray, Ryan has a great matchup against a beatable defense. What is owners down last week, but I believe this week he will pay them back dividend he what is owners down last week, but I believe this week he will be back into the top 12. Ryan is a QB1 against the Cardinals
Carson Wentz Vs Minnesota
Sometimes you just get a feeling, and that’s the feeling I’m getting right now when I think about Wentz going against the Vikings. I just don’t see the upside, which makes me concerned about starting him. Wednesday is more of a QB2 this week.
Sam Darnold Vs Dallas
Some may be excited that Darnold is back this week. It is a good sign for the future, but I would hold off starting him this week even in two-quarterback leagues. Darnold is freshly coming off of an illness, that I believe will take him a week or two to get back into football shape. I would only play Donald if I was completely desperate. He is a low-end QB2 this week.
Jimmy Garoppolo Vs LA Rams
Jimmy has been a sub-par quarterback this year. Nothing has changed with this matchup either. Jimmy is better left on the bench or the waiver wire. The LA Rams have not been that great this year defensively, but I believe they will show up against the 49ers this week. If you have no better option then obviously you’ll start Jimmy. Jimmy might be able to muster up a solid floor, but his ceiling is capped.
Philip Lindsay Vs Tennessee
Lindsay looked like he was back in last season form last week. I don’t see that stopping this week against the Tennessee defense that has been vulnerable to the run. I would fire him up as a mid-tier RB2 with upside.
Derrick Henry Vs Denver
Henry hasn’t looked as solid as he has in previous weeks. But he is still putting up decent yardage, or falling into the end zone weekend and week out. It seems like Denver's defense is falling apart, so Henry should be able to put up solid fantasy points this week against the Broncos. He is a low end RB1 with upside.
Kenyan Drake Vs Washington
Drake has been underwhelming this year. Mainly because of his team and coaching staff. If there were ever a matchup they would want to play him, this is the one. Drake is a solid flex and will put up decent numbers against an underwhelming Redskins defense.
Ronald Jones Vs Carolina
There are a lot of things lined up against John’s having a good week. Not only is he traveling to Great Britain, but they are also facing a solid defense in the Panthers. If Jones continues to get the carries, he will put up average numbers. But overall it should be underwhelming. He is a low-end RB3 this week against the Panthers.
Miles Sanders Vs Minnesota
Sanders is officially the back up for the Philadelphia Eagles. Over the last two weeks is easy to see that Jordan Howard is the weed back. Until we see Sanders get a bigger opportunity, he would have a spot on my bench. Also, the matchup is not pretty, only making it easier to not start sanders this week unless you had to.
LeSean McCoy Vs Houston
The Kansas City backfield is all over the place. Even while Williams was out Lesean was not given lead back duties. Now that Williams is back Lesean is back in his backup role. The backfield is too volatile to start this week even in a good matchup. I would look elsewhere, purely for upside.
Tyler Boyd Vs Baltimore
Boyd has been solid play, especially in PPR. Some are afraid when I hear about the Ravens defense, but it is no longer the defense that should be feared. Ravens are being constantly beaten by receivers. I like boys as a Boyd has been solid play, especially in PPR. Some are afraid when they hear about the defense, but it is no longer the defense that should be feared. Ravens are being constantly beaten by receivers. I like Boyd as a WR2 with upside this week.
Curtis Samuel Vs Tampa Bay
Samuel has been a below-average play for most of the year. But the one matchup that he did succeed on, was the Tampa Bay match up a few weeks ago. Tampa Bay allowed over 300 yards per game to receivers, I like the chance that Samuel gets a decent chunk of those targets.
Terry McLaurin Vs Miami
I believe the last two weeks are an anomaly from Terry. I believe in his first three weeks. He also gets Keenum back this week at QB, which only upgrades his status. Terry is a mid-tier WR2, with upside for much more.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling vs Detroit
The Green Bay Packers wide receivers disappointed everyone last week against the Cowboys. I do not see much upside for them against the Lions this week even with it being a decent matchup. MVS should see a lot of Darius Slay if Adams were to miss this week. Only making the decision to sit him easier. He is a little and flex for those who are desperate. There are much better options out there.
Sammy Watkins Vs Houston
Sammy Watkins has to be one of the best storylines this season. The contrast between his weak one and the rest of his weeks is massive. Even with Hill out Watkins has shown almost zero ability to have consistent fantasy weeks. Let alone his constant injury concerns. If you have a better option, I would not waste my time worrying whether Sammy is going to play this week or not. He is too big of a boom-bust to rely upon.
Diontae Johnson Vs LA Chargers
Johnson has shown upside when given the opportunity. But it is as bad as it could possibly be in Pittsburgh right now. Until Rudolph comes back from his injury, I would not rely upon any Pittsburgh receiver. Johnson may get the targets, but the upside isn’t there. Johnson is better on your bench this week, I would prefer to play a player with better QB play.
Mark Andrews Vs Cincinnati
Andrews has been injury-riddled all season, but it has not stopped him from being a relevant Thailand. I believe that this matchup could be his best one yet. I believe this is a total bounce-back game for the Ravens offense as a whole. I’m not worried about his injury designation, as it seems like it will be a weekly thing at this point. If you have Andrews, you are firing him up. You should be a top-tier tight end one against the Bengals.
Gerald Everett Vs San Francisco
San Francisco has been one of the elite defenses over the beginning of the season. But I don’t think that will matter when it comes to Gerald's value. I believe they will be too consumed by the running back and wide receiver corpse, leaving Gerald wide open for Goff. If you picked him up this week, then you are most likely starting him. He is a high-end TE2 with upside.
Delanie Walker Vs Denver
Walker looks like his old self week one. But ever since he has been feeding week after week. He is no longer receiving the target share that he has had in the past. At such a volatile position, sometimes it is hard not to start players that we are familiar with. But I would rather take an upside play, versus starting Delanie. I do not see the upside, and I don’t even think there is much of a floor anymore.
O.J. Howard Vs Carolina
If you are still starting Howard at this point, I totally feel for you. He has to be the biggest bust at the tight end position this year. A player that has so much upside, but has not shown any of that so far this season. I believe Howard should be on the waivers almost everywhere. He has no floor, and practically zero upside. There are many better options, and I would not torture yourself by playing Howard another week.
