Week 16- Waivers Edition

December 18, 2018

My waiver additions are based off of 10-man leagues. I use the average ESPN percentages and stats to supply the information I use within my waiver additions. Some of the players listed may be taken in your league, but I will go in depth to add deep waiver additions as well. I broke it down by position, listing it by the most value at the top leading to the least value at the bottom. I will try not to list players from week to week but there are no promises. As we go week to week, the waivers will become more and more barren. Make sure you make your waivers count, as they are what help you build a winning team. If you’re reading this then that means you have made the Championship. So I will not waste your time with maybes, the players listed are players I would actually put into my lineup if you need solid options. Congratulations on making the Championship, and good luck this week.

Josh Allen, QB- Buffalo Bills- 16.9% Owned

Upcoming Schedule:  NE

Allen again has been a solid fantasy player through three weeks now. He has an upcoming matchup against the middle of the pack New England Defense. I have to believe that the Bills will be behind, causing Allen to use his rocket of an arm. He has QB1 upside, especially since most Quarterbacks have been terrible as of late.

Running Backs

Damien Williams, RB- Kansas City Chiefs- 60.8 % Owned

Upcoming Schedule: SEA

I am writing this because Williams was added above the 50% mark, but if available he is a solid addition to any lineup. Seattle’s defense is no longer the juggernaut it was in the past. If Spencer Ware is out another week, fire up Williams as a low end RB2 with upside.

Jamaal Williams, RB- Green Bay Packers- 11.8 % Owned

Upcoming Schedule: NYJ

Williams fell back into the lead role after Aaron Jones injury this past week. He also has a great matchup against a weak Jets defense. For those who need a solid 10 points with upside for more, Williams is your guy. If Ware comes back for KC, Jamaal would be my top waiver addition of the week.

Wide Receivers

Mike Williams, WR- LA Chargers- 28.9% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: BAL

Williams filled in for an injured Keenan Allen superbly this past week against the KC Chiefs. He will not be the lead receiver this week, but still has value against the Ravens. I would fire him up as a mid-tier flex with upside.

Robert Foster, WR- Buffalo Bills- 3.3 % Owned

Upcoming Schedule: NE

Foster has been the go to guy over the last two games, and is the down the field option for Josh Allen. I don’t see that stopping this week against the New England Patriots. He has low end flex value, with WR2 upside this week.

Tight Ends

Ian Thomas, TE- Carolina Panthers- 50.7 % Owned

Upcoming Schedule: ATL

Thomas is a solid addition to any team needing tight end help. He is above the mark at 50.7 % owned. If he is still available this upcoming week, he would be the only tight end off the waivers that I would consider adding and playing in my lineup.
