Week 15- Waivers Edition

December 10, 2018

My waiver additions are based off of 10-man leagues. I use the average ESPN percentages and stats to supply the information I use within my waiver additions. Some of the players listed may be taken in your league, but I will go in depth to add deep waiver additions as well. I broke it down by position, listing it by the most value at the top leading to the least value at the bottom. I will try not to list players from week to week but there are no promises. As we go week to week, the waivers will become more and more barren. Make sure you make your waivers count, as they are what help you build a winning team.

Quarterbacks

Josh Allen, QB- Buffalo Bills- 16.9% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: DET, NE, MIA

I wrote about Allen last week, and here he is again. Allen has great matchups and has been taking advantage of them. If you want an upside play in the second week of the playoffs, Allen can be streamed against a weak Detroit defense.

Derek Carr, QB- Oakland Raiders- 10.6% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: CIN, DEN, KC

Carr has been solid for the past two weeks, putting up QB1 weeks over that span. This week he faces a horrible Cincinnati defense that is susceptible to giving up a lot of points. Carr is a decent streamer this week.

Running Backs

Kenneth Dixon, RB- Baltimore Ravens- 2.6% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: TB, LAC, CLE

Dixon had a solid outing this past week against the Chiefs. With Collins being put on IR, it left a solid role to be filled by Dixon and Gus Edwards. If you are in desperate need of running back depth, Dixon is a solid add. He has low end- flex value against Tampa Bay this week.

Elijah McGuire, RB- New York Jets- 11.3% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: HOU, GB, NE

McGuire had unexpectedly decent results this past week. We all know that the Jets offense is volatile, but can still move the ball well enough to put up numbers. If you need a flier at the running back position, McGuire has the ability to be a decent low end flex.

Wide Receivers

Kenny Stills, WR- Miami Dolphins- 25.7% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: MIN, JAX, BUF

Stills has been a great play since Tannehill has come back from injury. This upcoming week he has a hard matchup against the Vikings. But I still believe he could have another flex worthy week. Stills is a risk/ reward play that could pay off if you take a risk on the upside.

Dede Westbrook, WR- Jacksonville Jaguars- 27.9% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: WSH, MIA, HOU

Dede is alive once again. After being hit or miss, Dede had a huge week against the titans. He was really the only bright spot on the team. If you need a low end flex with upside, you could do worse than Dede this week against the Redskins.

Randall Cobb, WR- Green Bay Packers- 47.5% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: CHI, NYJ, DET

Cobb has been injured most of the year, but had a decent target share this past week. He will be facing a solid Bears defense this week who just shut down the LA Rams. If the Bears shut down Adams, Cobb may be able to emerge and put up another flex worthy outing this weekend.

DaeSean Hamilton, WR- Denver Broncos- 5.5%Owned

Upcoming Schedule: CLE, OAK, LAC

Hamilton, who is almost unowned is a solid add this week in deep formats. Nothing is in stone with the Denver offense, but if you have the room Hamilton could add decent depth to your wide receiver squad. He is a flex play this week, in which should be a solid matchup with Cleveland.

Tight Ends

At a position that has such a large fluctuation of points scored, any type of solid production is always acknowledged.

Ian Thomas, TE- Carolina Panthers- 25.5 % Owned

Upcoming Schedule: NO, ATL, NO

Thomas was on my waiver adds last week, and he did not disappoint. He posted yet again a solid stat line, and I believe he is the top add of the week. Especially for those who have a tight end that they are uncomfortable with. I believe Thomas is in the TE1 tier this week against the Saints.

Vernon Davis, TE- Washington Redskins- 4.9% Owned

Upcoming Schedule: JAX, TEN, PHI

With Jordan Reed out, Davis now assumes the lead tight end role. Nothing in Washington is necessarily going well, but neither is the tight end landscape in fantasy football. I believe that Davis should be a streamable option at a weak position.
