Trade Cheat Sheet Week 10

With trade deadlines approaching it’s time to get your rosters in order. If all hope is lost this season then you need to be concentrating on the play offs, look ahead and see how your team shapes up in those games. If your team looks like it will struggle in the playoffs you need to get it sorted before the trade deadline is up. If you are on the cusp of the playoffs and need to win now, then go get players to get you wins. With not many bye weeks left it’s time to trade some of your depth away and improve your team, go out and do some of my favorite ‘2-for-1 trades’.

Sell Highs

Deandre Hopkins WR

He was on for a terrible day before a 34-yard touchdown from Tom Savage. He’s getting a ton of targets but against some of the secondaries he will be facing until week 16 he’s not going to have this level of production. You’ve got until Sunday before his price is going to drop. Will Fuller is nothing more than a deep threat now from a below average QB and is a tough start in any league, especially PPR. I’d be offering him out to see what I can get.

Seahawks RBs

If you own any of the millions of RBs and someone is willing to trade for one, I’d let them go. It’s a headache picking which RB is going to be the guy, so let someone else worry about it.

Sammy Watkins WR

Sell, Sell, Sell, and quick! He’s not getting the targets, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon. You couldn’t have asked for a better stat line this week to sell him. Watkins’ is a talented player and people in fantasy may be thinking that he’s back after his long touchdown. He’s not back, so go sell.

Ty Hilton WR

With super tough matchups left and a bye week, it’s a great time to move Hilton after finishing as the top WR in week 9. He may have a blow-up game in a tough matchup, but going forward it will be hard to predict. I’d sell him for a safer option.

Aaron Jones RB

He may be the RB to own when the packers are in winning positions, but with Brett Hundley under centre that isn’t going to be happening a lot. With tough match ups coming I’d be trying to get something for him before he’s droppable.

Buy Lows

Mike Evans WR

After two terrible games in a row and a suspension in week 10 managers are down on Evans. Ryan Fitzpatrick having been named the starter for the next few weeks also lowers his value, but on a good day he is one of the best receivers in the game, and he will bounce back with either Ryan Fitzpatrick or a healthy Jameis Winston under centre.

AJ Green WR

As a Jaguars fan I enjoyed the tussle between AJ Green and Jalen Ramsey. I also enjoyed it as I benched him this week knowing it was going to be a tough matchup, but some people in fantasy will have played him, and are disillusioned by his scores since his bye week. If you can target him on the cheap then do it.

Corey Davis WR

Not worth starting for the next two weeks, but if he can get healthy he has some great looking matchups coming up. If you can get him on the cheap or in a trade he’s well worth a bench stash with upside. The targets are there, and I can only see him getting back to his week 1 target numbers when he saw 10 targets.

Ben Roethlisberger QB

If you haven’t got an elite QB but are playoff bound, then Big Ben is a great QB to target for the fantasy playoffs. With Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster at his disposal they should all do well during the fantasy playoffs. Go sell your so say ‘Elite Fantasy QB’, and play the matchups instead.

Michael Crabtree WR

If you can get through this week when he’s on his bye it’s a great time to buy Mr Crabtree, with some good matchups to come and a great playoff schedule it’s time to buy. He is the Raiders no.1 and I’m expecting a great 2nd half of the season.

Just because I have a player to sell on this list doesn’t mean they are about to become dreadful and not worth owning. They will still have value, but the players I’ve suggested to sell high I’m expecting their trade values to drop.

My last quick tip is if you are struggling for wins and are sitting on Drew Brees, Russell Wilson or Tom Brady I’d become a QB streamer and cash in on your top QB. It’s the easiest position to stream with plenty of options available each week.

Use your brain when working out trades, but if you are struggling ask us on twitter @TimJablonski and @TheHateful8FF and we can help you out! If you get a big trade through let me know on twitter, I love nothing more than hearing the trades you guys have done.
