Trade Cheat Sheet: Week 7

I hope you’re all well and you’ve executed some trades over the last few weeks with help from TheHateful8FF Trade Cheat Sheet.

My week 6 trades were some of the best of the season, I didn’t even send that many trades, for me. I checked out other team’s rosters and could see their bye week and injury issues which meant I could get some pretty good trades through. In my home league I managed to get two trades off. My first was trading Davante Adams away for Dez Bryant, the Bryant owner was struggling for players as he had a lot of bye week problems. Trading for a player who currently has his bye week can make it a lot easier to get a trade through, providing you can get through the players bye week yourself, and obviously the injury to Aaron Rodgers made this trade look even better. My second trade was my favourite, with me trading Ameer Abdullah straight up for Mark Ingram, the owner wasn’t happy with his touchdown numbers, and even with Adrian Peterson leaving he preferred Abdullah. I was expecting a decent week for Ingram but nothing close to what he did. I’m hoping to have another good week trading week and below I have some players that I’m buying and some I’m selling.

Sell High

Adrian Peterson - RB

Arizona got an early lead last week meaning they could lean on the run, and it turned out to be a perfect game script for Peterson to have a big day. He won’t have a game like this one again, see what you can get for him, his price can’t get much higher.

Tarik Cohen – RB

Hes just not getting enough snaps to be fantasy relevant. He’s only had two targets since Trubisky took over, but had a good week last time out thanks to a touchdown throw. Sell while you still can.

Packers’ WRs

They won’t be completely useless, but with Aaron Rodgers out for the season Adams, Nelson and Cobb will all suffer from the loss. If you can still get a decent price for them it’s a good time to move on from them before their price could drop even further.

Demarco Murray - RB

COMMITTEE ALERT! The Titans backfield is a full-on committee now, and with Derrick Henry running better than Murray it looks like the Titans will be giving less work to him. Murray had a good fantasy week last week on limited touches, you should trade him away before his value drops.

Carlos Hyde - RB

Kyle Shanahan likes Matt Breida and going with the hot hand in his backfield, which makes it tough to trust Carlos Hyde week to week. He will have his moments this year but with Breida in the mix and his lingering injury issues I’d be seeing what I can get for him.

Will Fuller - WR

He will not continue his current touchdown rate. He’s not getting enough targets and if he doesn’t get his touchdowns then his weekly floor is real low. His price is real high now, so try and shift him.

Buy Low

Michael Thomas - WR

He had a terrible game last week because the Saints got ahead real early, meaning they could lean on the run. Thomas will bounce back and you couldn’t pick a better week to buy him. An elite WR with at a knockdown price.

Keenan Allen - WR

Allen hasn’t been great the last two weeks, and it may be slightly too soon to buy with a matchup vs Denver but after that he will be a top 12 WR rest of the way. The targets are there and the touchdowns are coming so if you can buy him this week or next, I’d recommend you do so.

Devin Funchess - WR

Funchess isn’t a big name, so after a bad week his price is low. Funchess is one of Cam Newton’s top targets, and Funchess remains a red zone threat. Buy him before people realise he’s better than Kelvin Benjamin.

Matt Ryan - QB

Terrible week 6, but next few matchups are great and his matchups in the fantasy playoffs are some of the best. He hasn’t thrown a lot of touchdowns this year but with great matchups they should rise again. Falcon’s coaches want to get Julio Jones more work and that can only help Matt Ryan.

Just because I have a player to sell on this list doesn’t mean they are about to become dreadful and not worth owning. They will still have value, but the players I’ve suggested to sell high I don’t expect to stay on the same level that they started the year on.

My last quick tip is if you are struggling for wins and are sitting on Drew Brees or Tom Brady I’d become a QB streamer and cash in on your top QB. It’s the easiest position to stream with plenty of options available each week.
