Week 4 Waiver Wire Targets

September 27, 2017

Andrew Luck (92% Owned)

There’s a chance that Luck is sitting on your waiver wire and if you’re using the streaming QB strategy then he’s a definite grab and stash as he should be back on the field soon. We’re guessing by Week 6.

Sam Bradford (64% Owned)

The Minnesota offense has been explosive and if anyone dropped Bradford when he missed time, this could be your opportunity to pick him up.

Running Back

Wendell Smallwood (36% Owned)

With Sproles being out and possibly done with his career, Smallwood is in line to see plenty of touches and a decent workload moving forward. He’s worth a flyer if you need RB depth.

Chris Thompson (86% Owned)

I mentioned him last week so hopefully you can pick him up still, but he has shown to be incredibly effective even with minimal rushes.

Alex Collins (11% Owned)

Terrence West has been unimpressive and although most of Collins touches came at the end of the game, he looked better than West. As a recent promotion from the practice squad (where he signed after being released by Seattle) he could factor in more in the coming weeks.

Wide Receiver

Donte Moncrief (77% Owned)

Moncrief hasn't made much of an impact yet, but with Luck coming back he could emerge as a viable fantasy starter.

Sterling Shepard (71% Owned)

Shepard is coming off a monster game and may already be owned in your league, but if he isn't I would scoop him up quick. The second year WR is an adept route runner and with Odell back he should have a lot easier time getting open.

Allen Hurns/Marquis Lee (67%/49% Owned)

The Jacksonville offense actually looked good last week. This week Mercedes Lewis reaped a lot of the benefit with 3 TDs, but the TDs should get spread around more going forward. With Allen Robinson tearing his ACL there are opportunities to go around and both of these receivers could reap the benefits.

Tight End

Jared Cook (53% Owned)

The Raiders had a pretty dismal offensive performance last week, but I expect them to bounce back. Cook is a solid TE option in a strong passing offense.

Charles Clay (54% Owned)

There’s not a lot of options in Buffalo, which will keep Clay involved in the offense. He is a big red zone target and has the athleticism to pick up yards after the catch.
